Login as Client
Logging in as a client lets you access the portal exactly as they see it. This is useful for troubleshooting issues, verifying what a client has access to, or helping them complete a task.
How to log in as a client
- Go to Clients and find the client
- Click Sign in on their profile
- You’ll be redirected to the portal, logged in as that client
- When you’re done, click Back to admin from the user menu to return to your admin session
Your original admin session is preserved — you’re not actually logging out. Clicking “Back to admin” restores your session instantly.
Who can use this
This feature follows a permission hierarchy to prevent privilege escalation:
- Admins can log in as staff members and clients
- Account managers can log in as clients only
- Staff members cannot use this feature
No one can log in as a user with a higher role than their own.
